HDFC Mutual Fund has fixed Wednesday, October 21, 2026 as the record date for the monthly Income Distribution cum Capital Withdrawal, or IDCW, under HDFC Arbitrage Fund.
The distribution approved by HDFC Trustee Company is ₹0.05 per unit under both the Regular Plan and Direct Plan Monthly IDCW options, covering payout and reinvestment facilities.
The face value of each unit is ₹10.
As of October 14, the NAV of the Regular Plan Monthly IDCW option stood at ₹11.448 per unit, while the Direct Plan Monthly IDCW option had an NAV of ₹11.358.
HDFC Mutual Fund has clarified that the actual distribution per unit will be the lower of the announced ₹0.05 or the distributable surplus available on the record date, subject to the scheme's rules.
Following the distribution, the NAV of the relevant IDCW option will decline to the extent of the IDCW paid and any applicable statutory levy.
Eligible unitholders or beneficial owners whose names appear in the fund's records or the depositories' beneficial ownership statements on the record date will receive the distribution, subject to applicable tax deducted at source.
Investors whose valid purchase or switch-in requests are received and whose funds are available for utilisation within the applicable cut-off timing on the record date are also covered under the eligibility conditions stated in the notice.
For investors who selected the reinvestment facility, the IDCW amount, after applicable TDS, will be used to allot additional units at the applicable NAV after adjustment for stamp duty.
HDFC Arbitrage Fund is an open-ended scheme investing in arbitrage opportunities.
An IDCW distribution should not be treated as an additional return independent of a scheme's NAV. The fund's NAV adjusts downward to reflect the amount distributed, as specified in the AMC's notice.
