Kotak Mahindra Asset Management Company's Nifty Realty Index Fund remains open for subscription, with its new fund offer scheduled to close on 9 November 2026.
The NFO opened on 26 October. It is an open-ended passive index fund designed to track the Nifty Realty Index, providing exposure to listed companies from India's real-estate sector.
As of 30 September, the underlying index comprised 10 NSE-listed real-estate companies and was subject to semi-annual rebalancing. The scheme's objective is to generate returns corresponding to the total returns of securities represented by the index before expenses, subject to tracking error.
The minimum application amount during the NFO is ₹1,000. Kotak Mutual Fund classifies the scheme as very high risk. Satish Dondapati, Jeetu Valechha Sonar and Abhishek Bisen have been named as fund managers.
As an index fund, the scheme will follow the composition of its designated benchmark rather than use active security selection to attempt to outperform it.
The NFO represents another addition to the growing range of sector-focused passive products available in India's mutual fund market. Its real-estate concentration also means its performance will be linked closely to the constituents and movements of the underlying sectoral index.
