Under the Employee Stock Option Plan, 2024, Meesho has made an allotment of 10.71 lakh equity shares to eligible employees on account of vesting of stock options.
This has been done by means of a circular resolution of the Nomination and Remuneration Committee of the company dated September 21, 2026.
In total, 10,71,542 shares have been allotted, each carrying a par value of Re 1. The newly allotted shares shall be treated equally as those of Meesho in all aspects.
Furthermore, the allotment has led to the increase in Meesho’s issued, subscribed, and paid-up equity share capital.
Previously, the company’s paid-up equity share capital was ₹4,62,62,20,635, which consisted of 4,62,62,20,635 equity shares of Re 1 each.
With the ESOP exercise, this figure has risen to ₹4,62,72,92,177, with the same number of equity shares of Re 1 each.
The shares have been allotted specifically in exchange for vested employee options of ESOP 2024 Plan. The filing does not provide details of the number of employees exercising the options, the exercise price, or any other impact on Meesho’s finances, apart from the paid-up capital.
Meesho informed both the National Stock Exchange and BSE about the allotment on September 21. The company trades under the symbol MEESHO on the NSE and carries the scrip code 544632 on the BSE.
