Regaal Resources Says Sharp Trading Activity Was Market-Driven, Rules Out Undisclosed Information

Regaal Resources has said there was no undisclosed company information behind the recent sharp movement in trading activity in its shares, responding to a query from the National Stock Exchange.

Regaal Resources responded a day later, saying it had no pending announcement or price-sensitive information that could account for the change in the stock’s price or volume behaviour.
The company also said there was no undisclosed event or information that required reporting under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations and that could, in its view, have influenced trading in the shares.
Regaal therefore attributed the movement to market conditions.
The exchange query followed a sharp rise in trading activity in the stock on September 22, although the company itself did not offer any business or corporate reason for the move.
Regaal added that it would continue to inform the stock exchanges of disclosures required under applicable regulations as and when they arise.
The response was signed by Company Secretary and Compliance Officer Tinku Kumar Gupta on September 23.
