Back-to-Back Upper Circuits: Vellora Impact Stock Rallies as H1 Profit Surges Nearly 3X
Last Updated: 6th November 2026 - 03:48 pm
Shares of Vellora Impact Ltd touched the 5% upper circuit at ₹10.16 on Friday, 6 November 2026, after closing at ₹9.68 on Thursday, 5 November, when they had also hit the upper circuit. The two-day rise followed the announcement of unaudited results for the quarter and half year ended 30 September 2026.
Despite the two-session rebound, the stock remains volatile. Upper circuits restrict trading beyond the exchange-set price band and do not necessarily indicate that buying interest will continue.
H1 FY27 Profit Climbs Nearly Threefold
For the six months ended September 2026, Vellora Impact reported standalone revenue from operations of ₹290.56 crore, compared with ₹3.33 crore in H1 FY26. Net profit rose to ₹12.63 crore from ₹4.49 crore, an increase of about 181%, or roughly 2.8 times the year-earlier figure.
The latest quarter tells a more measured story of Vellora Impact share price. Q2 FY27 revenue stood at ₹148.64 crore versus ₹2.17 crore a year earlier, while net profit increased only about 1.7%, from ₹6.60 crore to ₹6.71 crore.
New Agriculture and IT Businesses Drive Revenue
The company, formerly known as Pratiksha Chemicals, moved away from its earlier chemical operations and into agricultural-produce trading and IT-enabled services from January 2026. Agriculture contributed ₹279.42 crore of H1 FY27 revenue, or about 96%, while IT and IT-enabled services contributed ₹11.14 crore. This change in business mix makes year-on-year revenue comparisons less like-for-like.
Investors will need to watch whether this high-volume trading business can sustain margins, cash generation and repeat business. The earlier September-quarter profit also included substantial other income, making operating performance particularly important when comparing the two periods.
Conclusion
Vellora Impact’s back-to-back upper circuits come amid a sharp improvement in its half-yearly financial performance, with net profit rising nearly threefold and revenue surging following its entry into agriculture and IT-enabled services. However, the modest growth in quarterly profit and the significant change in business operations warrant closer attention. Going forward, the company’s ability to sustain revenue growth, improve operating margins and generate consistent cash flows will be key factors to monitor.
