Indian benchmark indices opened on a mixed note on Tuesday, September 22nd, The Sensex opened flat near its previous close, while the Nifty 50 opened up slightly by 0.11%. Both indices have since slipped into the red, with Nifty trading around the 23,360 mark at 12:37 pm, down by 0.3%.

FIIs remained net Sellers on Monday, September 21, selling equities worth ₹709.5 crore. At the same time, Brent crude oil prices remained stable at $101.81 per Barrel.

Top Gainers for September 22: RHI Magnesita, Meesho & JSW Infra Gain Up to 7.5%

RHI Magnesita Gains 7.5%

RHI Magnesita emerged as the top gainer in the Nifty 500 index on September 22, 2026. At 11:05 am,RHI Magnesita share price was trading at ₹395,up 7.5% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes remained strong at 63.7 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 6.7 lakh shares.

Meesho Rises Over 7.2%

Meesho share price rose to ₹235, gaining 7.2% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes stood at 2.43 Crore shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 1.78 Crore shares.Meesho is trading pretty close to its 52-week high of ₹254.40,with solid company performance backing it up, investor confidence, and trading strong volumes. 

JSW Infra Rose 5%

At 11:39 am, the JSW Infra share price was trading at ₹367 , reflecting a gain of 5% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes also remained strong at 1.3 crore shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 36.7 lakh shares.

JSW Infra has hit a 52-week high of ₹375.5, driven by strong trading volumes and positive investor sentiment, following news that its wholly-owned subsidiary, JSW Port Logistics Private Limited, received a Letter of Intent (LOI) from the Ministry of Finance's Inter-Ministerial Committee on September 11, 2026, to set up the Ballari region's very first Inland Container Depot (ICD) at Kudathini, Karnataka.

Top Losers for September 22: Aegis Logistics, Aegis Vopak and Home First Fall Up to 5.5%

Aegis Vopak Falls 5.5%

Aegis Vopak emerged as the top loser in the Nifty 500 index on September 22, 2026.The Stock has fallen by 5.5% and is currently trading at a price of ₹300.

Aegis Vopak hit a new 52-week high today, which has brought out some profit-booking.Trading volumes currently stand at 18 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 13 lakh shares.

Aegis Logistics Falls 5.45%

Aegis Logistics emerged as the top loser in the Nifty 500 index on September 22, 2026.

At 11:59 am,Aegis Logistics share price was trading at ₹1404, down 5.45% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes remained 13.4 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 9.5 lakh.Aegis Logistics hit a new 52-week high today, and hence some profit-booking was seen today.

Home First Falls Over 4.4%

At 12:03 pm, the Home First share price was trading at ₹1,202.5 down 4.4% from its previous close on the NSE. The Trading volumes remained 1.73 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 1.97 lakh.
