Muhurat trading stocks 2026: 5 recommendations with targets and stop-losses
Last Updated: 8th November 2026 - 12:23 pm
Tech Mahindra has broken above its earlier peaks. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is still attempting to form a base after a prolonged decline. Both appear in today’s Muhurat trading recommendations, with different technical reasons behind the calls.
The five-stock selection comprises Tech Mahindra, TCS, Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles, Coforge and Apollo Micro Systems. Each recommendation comes with an entry price, target and stop-loss. The stated upside ranges from 19.26% to 24.63%, measured from the respective entry prices.
Muhurat trading takes place today, Sunday, 8 November 2026, as the market marks the arrival of Samvat 2083. The special session has its own exchange schedule, detailed below.
Muhurat trading stock recommendations for 2026
| Stock | Entry Price | Target Price | Stop-Loss | Potential Upside |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Tech Mahindra (TECHM) | ₹1,789.1 | ₹2,200 | ₹1,600 | 22.97% |
| TCS (TCS) | ₹2,499 | ₹3,000 | ₹2,230 | 20.05% |
| Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles (TMPV) | ₹276.7 | ₹330 | ₹250 | 19.26% |
| Coforge (COFORGE) | ₹2,060.8 | ₹2,500 | ₹1,880 | 21.31% |
| Apollo Micro Systems (APOLLO) | ₹401.2 | ₹500 | ₹350 | 24.63% |
Each of the five Muhurat stock recommendations includes a target price and stop-loss, with a holding period of one year or until the target or stop-loss is reached, whichever occurs first.
Why these five stocks feature in the Muhurat list
1. Tech Mahindra: Consolidation near fresh multi-year highs
Entry: ₹1,789.1 | Target: ₹2,200 | Stop-loss: ₹1,600 | Potential upside: 22.97%
Tech Mahindra has broken above its 2024–2026 peaks on high volume and is consolidating near fresh multi-year highs.
RSI is near 67, while weekly relative strength is at multi-year highs. The technical case rests on the breakout and the stock’s subsequent consolidation near those highs. It is an established-breakout setup in the recommendation note, supported by the weekly relative-strength reading.
2. TCS: Holding above its daily moving averages
Entry: ₹2,499 | Target: ₹3,000 | Stop-loss: ₹2,230 | Potential upside: 20.05%
TCS has reclaimed all its daily exponential moving averages, including the 200-day EMA, and is holding above them.
The weekly trend is beginning to turn. RSI is near 67, and relative strength is positive. The recovery above the daily moving averages is the main feature of this call, with the improving weekly picture adding to the technical rationale.
3. Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles: An attempt to form a base
Entry: ₹276.7 | Target: ₹330 | Stop-loss: ₹250 | Potential upside: 19.26%
Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles is attempting to form a base near its recent lows after a prolonged decline. RSI is recovering, and relative strength is improving.
The recommendation identifies a value-buy opportunity in that developing recovery. The word “attempting” is important here: the technical assessment describes an effort to stabilise near the lows, rather than a completed breakout to fresh highs.
4. Coforge: A weekly breakout above resistance
Entry: ₹2,060.8 | Target: ₹2,500 | Stop-loss: ₹1,880 | Potential upside: 21.31%
Coforge has broken above resistance on the weekly chart, reaching a fresh high above ₹2,000.
RSI is near 65, with relative strength positive. Unlike a stock still approaching an earlier barrier, Coforge has already crossed the resistance identified in the recommendation. The weekly breakout, together with the momentum and relative-strength readings, forms the basis of the call.
5. Apollo Micro Systems: A five-month range within a weekly uptrend
Entry: ₹401.2 | Target: ₹500 | Stop-loss: ₹350 | Potential upside: 24.63%
Apollo Micro Systems is consolidating within its five-month trading range while holding above the rising 20-week EMA.
The weekly uptrend remains intact, and relative strength is positive. Its setup therefore combines a period of consolidation with an underlying upward trend. The note does not describe a breakout from the five-month range; holding above the rising weekly moving average is part of the rationale.

Reading the entry price, target and stop-loss together
The upside column is calculated from a specific entry price. It cannot be carried over unchanged to a purchase made at a different price.
For example, the 24.63% potential upside stated for Apollo Micro Systems is based on the ₹401.2 entry and ₹500 target. Paying more than the listed entry would reduce the percentage distance to that same target and increase the distance to the ₹350 stop-loss.
The same arithmetic applies to all five recommendations. A higher purchase price changes the trade even when the target and stop-loss remain unchanged.
There is also a difference between a stop-loss level in a research call and the price at which an exit order is eventually executed. Market conditions and available orders can affect execution, and a stop-loss order does not guarantee an exit at the exact stated price.
