Q4 Earnings Round-Up: Nykaa, Honasa Profit Jump While GAIL, Sun TV Report Decline

GAIL (India) reported a sharp fall in standalone profit for the March quarter, as earnings declined 38.4% year-on-year to ₹1,262.2 crore from ₹2,049 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Revenue from operations slipped 2.6% to ₹34,772.5 crore compared with ₹35,685.2 crore a year earlier.

Aurobindo Pharma posted steady growth during the quarter. Consolidated net profit rose 2% year-on-year to ₹921.3 crore, while revenue increased 5.6% to ₹8,853.3 crore from ₹8,382.1 crore in the year-ago period.

LG Electronics India reported lower profitability despite higher sales. The company’s Q4 profit declined 8.2% to ₹692.7 crore from ₹754.5 crore last year. Revenue, however, climbed 8.1% to ₹8,053.6 crore.

FSN E-Commerce Ventures, which operates Nykaa, recorded strong earnings growth in the quarter. Consolidated profit surged 286.5% year-on-year to ₹78.4 crore against ₹20.3 crore earlier. Revenue rose 28.4% to ₹2,648.2 crore from ₹2,061.8 crore.

Honasa Consumer, the parent company of Mamaearth, also reported robust growth. Consolidated profit increased 177% to ₹69.2 crore from ₹25 crore in the same quarter last year, while revenue advanced 23.1% to ₹657 crore.

Manufacturing, Infrastructure Firms Show Mixed Trends

Welspun Corp reported a 47% decline in consolidated net profit at ₹370.4 crore compared with ₹698.3 crore a year ago. Revenue increased 9.9% to ₹4,312.6 crore. The company did not report any exceptional gain during the quarter, against exceptional gains of ₹476.5 crore in the previous year.

Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers posted strong operational growth, with profit rising 157.7% year-on-year to ₹186.7 crore. Revenue jumped 49.6% to ₹5,580.6 crore.

VA Tech Wabag reported a 28.9% increase in consolidated profit to ₹128.3 crore, while revenue grew 22.3% to ₹1,414.4 crore during the quarter.

GMM Pfaudler returned to profitability in Q4 FY26. The company reported a consolidated profit of ₹17.2 crore against a loss of ₹27 crore in the year-ago period. Revenue rose 17% to ₹943.6 crore.

Hospitality, Media And Healthcare Updates

Juniper Hotels reported an 8.3% fall in profit to ₹50.4 crore, while revenue increased 8.6% to ₹301.5 crore. The company reported an exceptional loss of ₹23.4 crore during the quarter.

Max Healthcare Institute posted a 7.3% rise in consolidated profit to ₹342.2 crore. Revenue grew 12.2% year-on-year to ₹2,142.9 crore.

Sun TV Network reported weak quarterly numbers, with profit declining 37.4% to ₹232 crore. Revenue also fell 6.3% to ₹882.5 crore.

Datamatics Global Services reported a marginal decline in profit to ₹44.2 crore despite revenue rising 4.4% to ₹519.3 crore. The company recorded an exceptional loss of ₹24.6 crore during the quarter.

Meanwhile, Bikaji Foods International posted a 26.1% increase in profit to ₹56.4 crore, supported by an 18% rise in revenue to ₹720.9 crore during the March quarter.
