NATCO Pharma

NATCO Pharma has received tentative approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) for Olaparib tablets in 100 mg and 150 mg strengths. The drug is bioequivalent to AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals’ reference listed drug, Lynparza, for the indications covered under the approved labelling.

NATCO Pharma will manufacture the product, while its partner Alembic Pharmaceuticals will handle distribution in the U.S. Industry sales data showed estimated U.S. sales of around $1.4 billion for Olaparib tablets in the 12 months ended March 2026.

Nuvama Wealth Management, GAIL India

Nuvama Wealth Management has received an administrative warning from the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) following an inspection related to public issues handled by the company as a merchant banker. The company said the warning would not affect its financials, operations, subsidiaries or associates.

GAIL (India) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Khanij Bidesh India (KABIL) to collaborate on critical and strategic minerals. The partnership is aimed at supporting India’s long-term resource security.

Aditya Birla Capital has invested ₹484.5 crore through a rights issue in the equity shares of Aditya Birla Sun Life Insurance.

Samvardhana Motherson, Sterlite Technologies

A Japanese court has approved Samvardhana Motherson International’s acquisition of an 81% stake in Yutaka Giken and an 11% stake in Shinnichi Kogyo Co. Shinnichi is a subsidiary of Yutaka Giken.

Sterlite Technologies’ U.S. subsidiary, STL Optical Connectivity NA, has launched CONCAT, an FTTH solution, after completing field trials on the network of a major U.S. telecom service provider.

Cipla, Power Grid, Force Motors And SpiceJet

Cipla said its wholly owned subsidiary InvaGen Pharmaceuticals received one Form 483 observation following a routine current Good Manufacturing Practices inspection by the USFDA at its New York facility between July 13 and July 17.

Power Grid Corporation of India has been declared the successful bidder for the Fatehgarh-II Transmission Project, involving the installation of two synchronous condensers and associated bays at the Fatehgarh-II Power Station.

Force Motors said Amit Pramod Joshi resigned as Associate Vice President with effect from July 17 for personal reasons. The Central Consumer Protection Authority imposed a ₹1 lakh penalty on SpiceJet over deceptive design practices, or dark patterns, on its flight booking platform.

Kolte-Patil Developers, Bulk Deals

Kolte-Patil Developers reported new area sales of ₹617 crore in the June quarter, compared with ₹616 crore a year earlier. Realisation increased 29% to ₹9,442 per sq ft, while collections rose 30% to ₹715 crore from ₹550 crore.

In bulk deals, Helios Mutual Fund bought 2.45 lakh shares of Landmark Cars for ₹12.79 crore at ₹520.28 per share. Axis Mutual Fund sold 5.94 lakh shares of ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems India for ₹138.4 crore.

SIS increased its stake in Updater Services by 6.53 lakh shares, while East Bridge Capital Master Fund I sold 8.17 lakh shares. Aegis Investment Fund bought a 3.97% stake in Rappid Valves (India), while other investors also reported transactions in the company.

Aditya Infotech, AccelerateBS India, Fairchem Organics, Graphite India, Happy Forgings, KPR Mill, NDR Auto Components, Nelcast, NESCO, Pokarna, Quest Capital Markets and others will trade ex-dividend. Simplex Castings will trade ex-date for a split, while Kaynes Technology India remains under the F&O ban.
