About Capital Infra Trust
Established in September 2023, Capital Infra Trust represents a significant entry into India's infrastructure investment landscape as an Infrastructure Investment Trust (InvIT) sponsored by Gawar Construction Limited. The trust has been established to engage in infrastructure investments under SEBI's InvIT regulations, with a primary focus on road and highway projects.
The trust's sponsor, Gawar Construction, brings substantial expertise in road construction, operating across 19 states in India. Their project portfolio encompasses 26 road projects under the hybrid annuity mode (HAM) with NHAI, including 11 completed projects (five acquired from Sadbhav Infrastructure Project Limited) and 15 under-construction projects.
