With two holidays in the same week, trading will take place on only three days between March 30 and April 3.

Stock Market Holidays This Week

Both BSE and NSE will remain shut on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, on account of Mahavir Jayanti. Trading will resume on April 1 and continue until April 2, followed by a closure on Friday, April 3, 2026, to celebrate Good Friday. The dual holidays create a shortened trading week and a long weekend for market participants.

Commodity Market Timings

The Multi-Commodity Exchange (MCX) will remain closed during the morning session on March 31. Trading in commodities will resume in the evening session from 5 PM to 11 PM on the same day, according to exchange schedules.
