Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on April 05

At 10.45 am on Tuesday, the core equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading flat amidst mixed global cues. The US markets are up due to the rally led by the technology stocks and information released about the macroeconomic data, whereas Asian markets are also trading somewhat flat.
The Sensex was trading at 60,443.68 down by 168.06 points or 0.29% and the Nifty 50 was trading at 18,017.80 down by 35.60 points or 0.20%.
The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Adani Ports, Eicher Motors, Tata Motors, UPL, and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HDFC Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finsrv, and Reliance Industries.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 24,622.50 up by 0.73%. The top 3 gainers of the index were JSW Energy, Bajaj Holdings, and Supreme Industries. Each of these scrips gained more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Federal Bank, Max Financial Services, and Indian Hotels Company.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at, 29,030.23 up by 1.15%. The top three gainers are Dilip Buildcon, Zuri Agro Chemicals, and Unichem Labs. Each of these stocks gained more than 13%. The top three stocks pulling the index down are DB Realty, Ratnamani Metals, and Khaitan Chemicals.
All the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading in the green, except BSE Metal, BSE Realty, and BSE Finance were trading in the red.
