Shares of Oracle Financial Services Software Ltd rose sharply, while Bharat Coking Coal Ltd declined on April 23 after both companies reported their March quarter (Q4FY26) results, according to regulatory filings.
During intraday trade, Oracle Financial Services Software shares were up 7.52% at ₹8,737.50, while Bharat Coking Coal traded 4.5% lower at ₹34.19 on the NSE.
Bharat Coking Coal Reports Decline In Profit And Revenue
Bharat Coking Coal reported a 15% year-on-year decline in revenue to ₹3,282.95 crore in Q4FY26, compared to ₹3,865.79 crore in the same period last year.
Net profit for the quarter fell 59% to ₹27.2 crore from ₹66.5 crore a year earlier, as per the company’s filing.
The company, a subsidiary of Coal India Ltd, was listed on stock exchanges on January 19, 2026. The stock remains 55.9% above its issue price of ₹23 per share but is about 20% lower than its listing price of ₹45.
OFSS Reports Sequential Growth In Profit
Oracle Financial Services Software reported a 38.1% quarter-on-quarter increase in net profit to ₹841.7 crore.
Revenue for the quarter rose 5.1% to ₹2,065.2 crore, while earnings before interest and tax (EBIT) increased 29.5% to ₹1,040.9 crore.
The company’s EBIT margin expanded to 51.2% from 41.7% in the previous quarter, according to its regulatory filing.
Stock Movement Reflects Earnings Outcome
Both stocks witnessed an increase or decrease after the release of their quarterly earnings results. Oracle Financial Services Software witnessed a gain, while Bharat Coking Coal posted a decline on April 23.
