The top 5 gainers of Nifty 50 were Tech Mahindra, Cipla, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Larsen and Toubro, and DR Reddy’s Laboratories. The top 5 stocks pulling down the index were IndusInd Bank, Hindalco, Bajaj Finance, Eicher Motors, and Adani Ports Ltd.
The BSE Midcap index is trading at 24,334, down by 0.1%. The top 3 gainers of the index include Torrent Pharmaceuticals, Procter and Gamble, and Natco Pharma. Each of these scrips was up by more than 2%. The top 3 stocks dragging the index include RBL Bank, United Breweries, and Indraprastha Gas Limited.
The BSE Smallcap index is trading at 28,453, up by 0.31%. The Top 3 gainers are Kabra Extrusion Technik, Kingfa Science and Technology (India), and Kirti Industries.
