Alkem Laboratories, Bajaj Auto and Chalet Hotels have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Alkem Laboratories: The stock surged for third consecutive day and has no effect of bad market sentiment. It has surged about 0.68%, with most of the gains recorded in the last hour of the trade. It traded negatively for most of the day and witnessed buying interest at lower levels. The stock shot up over 2% in the last hour and recorded huge volume lately. With the stock traded heavily towards the end, the stock is expected to be volatile with a positive bias for upcoming days.

Bajaj Auto: The stock soared about 3.39% on Friday despite bad sentiment in the market. It traded firmly in green throughout the day and recorded above average volume during the process. Huge buying pressure was seen in the stock today and it surged high as the day progressed. With stock being actively traded today, it is expected that the stock shall be in trader’s radar for few more days.

Chalet Hotels: The stock is marginally higher on Friday. The stock traded in red for most of the time during the day, but sharp recovery was made in the last hour of the session. The stock rose over 2% in the last 75 minutes and recorded huge volume during the process. Almost 50% of the total daily volume was recorded during this period, and thus, the stock is likely to be in trend for next week.
