Kalpataru Projects International Limited (KPIL) has secured new orders and notifications of awards worth approximately ₹2,025 crore across its power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, and oil and gas businesses.
The contracts cover projects in India as well as international markets, adding to the engineering and construction company’s order wins for the current financial year.
With the latest additions, KPIL’s order wins so far in FY27 have reached ₹13,219 crore.
New orders span three business segments
The latest contracts are spread across three of KPIL’s business areas — Power Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Buildings & Factories (B&F), and Oil & Gas.
The company has not provided a segment-wise breakup of the ₹2,025 crore order value in the press release. It has also not disclosed individual project values, customer names or project completion timelines.
KPIL informed the BSE and NSE on September 24 that these orders were received in the normal course of business.
KPIL also L1 for orders exceeding ₹12,000 crore
Apart from the ₹13,219 crore of orders already secured during FY27, KPIL said it is favourably placed or the lowest bidder, commonly referred to as L1, for orders worth more than ₹12,000 crore.
The L1 figure is separate from the orders already secured and does not represent confirmed order wins.
The latest announcement adds to KPIL’s order intake across multiple areas of its engineering, procurement and construction operations.
FY26 revenue stood at ₹27,143 crore
KPIL reported revenue of ₹27,143 crore in FY26, equivalent to approximately $2.9 billion according to the company’s press release.
Its operations extend across 75 countries, while more than 250 projects are currently under execution in over 30 countries.
The company’s EPC operations cover power transmission and distribution, buildings and factories, water supply and treatment, railways, oil and gas infrastructure, urban mobility, highways and airports.
KPIL also operates two manufacturing facilities in India that produce power transmission towers, heavy metal structures, and scaffolding and formwork systems.
The September 24 announcement is limited to the approximately ₹2,025 crore of new orders and notifications of awards. No individual contract values or customer details were disclosed.
