Kaya Explains Why It Did Not File Consolidated Results for June Quarter
Last Updated: 23rd September 2026 - 05:48 pm
Kaya has told the National Stock Exchange that consolidated financial results were not applicable for the June 2026 quarter because it no longer had a subsidiary, associate or joint venture at the end of the period.
The clarification followed an exchange observation over the absence of consolidated results for the quarter ended June 30.
Kaya Financial Year 2025/26 started with having one wholly-owned subsidiary - KME Holdings Pte Ltd. As the Singapore-based subsidiary was already undergoing voluntary liquidation process and had been officially wound up on April 22, 2026, it was no longer a Kaya subsidiary.
Therefore, by June 30, Kaya did not have any subsidiary whose accounts had to be included into consolidation with those of the company.
According to the management, the company had filed its standalone accounts of the June quarter according to the required deadlines.
The situation was different at the end of the previous financial year when Kaya filed the consolidated accounts of the March 31, 2026 quarter because KME Holdings Pte Ltd still belonged to the group.
Kaya has requested the NSE to take this clarification on record.
