Markets trade higher, owing to positive Inflation data from the US economy.

Asian markets were trading higher by more than 1% after the US inflation data came out better than expected. Hong Kong’s Hang Seng index was up by 2.19%, whereas the Shanghai Composite was trading 1.5% higher.

The SGX Nifty showed kickstarted the day positively for the broader index in India with a gain of 0.86%. Indian benchmark indices also were buoyant during the day as global sentiments were cheerful.

At 12:15 pm, the Nifty 50 was trading at the 17,678.20 level, rising by 0.82%. On the Nifty 50 index, the top gainers were Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, and Titan Company Ltd whereas Tata Consumer Products, Apollo Hospitals, Bharti Airtel, ITCm, and NTPC were the top losers of the session.

Sensex was trading at a level of 58,832.04, gaining by 0.76%. The top gainers were Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra, and Wipro whereas Bharti Airtel, ITC, and NTPC were the market draggers.

On The BSE, 1859 stocks have advanced, 1376 stocks have declined, whereas 161 stocks remain unchanged. Today 208 stocks have hit their upper circuit and 129 stocks have touched their lower circuit mark.
