Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on September 20

On Tuesday, the domestic markets traded positively led by bank, auto, IT, oil & gas stocks.
During the noon session, the Sensex was up 775.61 points or 1.31% at the 59,916.84 level whereas the Nifty was up 243 points or 1.38% at 17,865.30. About 2238 shares have advanced, 893 shares declined, and 113 shares are unchanged.
On BSE, the stocks that were most active were Ambuja Cements, Adani Wilmar, Best Agrolife, Zomato and HDFC whereas, on NSE, the most active stocks comprised Ambuja Cements, Bajaj Finance, Can Fin Homes, Adani Enterprise and Infosys.

On the sectoral front, all the sectors traded decently higher with BSE Auto, BSE Consumer Durables and BSE Realty indices gaining more than 2%. BSE Consumer Durables index was the highest among them zooming at 2.41%. The top three stocks pushing up the consumer durables index were Crompton Greaves, Blue Star and Aditya Birla Fashion & Retail rising up to 4%.
The broader markets were trading in green with the BSE Midcap Index being 1.96% up and the BSE Smallcap index being higher by 1.45%. The top three midcap stocks emerged to be CG Power, Deepak Nitrite and Vedant Fashions whereas the top three small-cap stocks were made up of Sastasundar Ventures, Advanced Enzyme Technologies and Lancer Container Lines.
