Oriana Power Promoters Release Entire Pledged Shareholding

Oriana Power Limited has informed the National Stock Exchange that the shares which have been pledged by the three of its promoters have now been freed, thus removing any pledge from their shareholdings.

For each promoter, 16.05 lakh shares pledged with LRSD Securities Private Limited were released. These shares represented 8.17% of the respective promoter’s holding and 1.58% of Oriana Power’s total share capital.
Another 22.25 lakh shares held by each promoter, which had been pledged with Rajasthan Global Securities Private Limited, were also released. This portion represented 11.33% of each promoter’s holding and 2.19% of the company’s total share capital.
Taken together, 38.30 lakh shares were released from pledge for each of the three promoters, accounting for 19.5% of the respective promoter’s holding and 3.77% of the company’s total share capital.
Following the release, Oriana Power said none of the three promoters has any shares of the company remaining under pledge. Their holdings are now 100% free from pledge, according to the disclosure.
The company submitted the information to the NSE on September 29 under Regulation 30 of the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015.
Oriana Power trades on the NSE under the symbol ORIANA. Exchange records identify the company as an SME-listed entity with equity shares as its security class.
