Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on May 04, 2022

At 10.30 am on Wednesday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty fell owing to weak global cues.

Crude oil is up by 1.23% and is trading at $ 103 per barrel, where the bond yields are flat as well at 2.95%

The Sensex was at 56,522.60down by 453.39 points or 0.80%, and the Nifty was at 16,932.80 down by 143.40 points or 0.84%. The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Power Grid Corporation of India, NTPC, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, and Wipro. Whereas, the top losers were Apollo Hospitals, Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories, Cipla, Titan Company, and Divi’s Labs.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 30,709.35 and is up by 0.77%. The top three gainers of the index Oil India, Laurus Labs, and AU Small Finance Bank. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Sanofi India, Tata Power, and RBL Bank.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,687.85, up by 0.79 %. The top 3 gainers of the index are Bombay Burmah Trading Company, IDFC First Bank, and RBL Bank. Each of these scrips was up by more than 4%. The top stocks pulling the index down were Alembic Pharmaceuticals, Voltas, Godrej Agrovet

On the sectoral front, only Nifty Realty, Nifty PSE were trading in the green.
