The Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Realty Index being the top gaining sector and BSE Metals being the top loser. 

On Wednesday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 8 points or 0.01% at 60,130 and the Nifty trading up by 6 points or 0.055% at 17,770. 

About 1,813 shares have advanced, 1,348 have declined and 150 were unchanged on BSE.  

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE: 

Power Grid Corporation of India, Larsen & Toubro and Tata Consultancy Services were the top Sensex gainers today, while Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv and Kotak Mahindra Bank were the top Sensex loser. 

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index up by 0.09% and the BSE Small-cap index up by 0.34%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Vodafone Idea and Delhivery Ltd, while the top small-cap gainers were Gujarat Industries Power and Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Realty Index leading the gainers and BSE Metals Index leading the losers. The BSE Power Index soared by 0.80%, led by India Bulls Real Estate and Macrotech Developers Ltd and whereas BSE Metals Index plunged by 1% dragged down by Jindal Steel and Hindustan Zinc.
