Last Updated: 29th September 2026 - 11:21 am
Vikram Solar shares gained nearly 2% in early trade on September 29 after the company secured a 400 MW solar module supply order for projects in Maharashtra.
The order has been placed by an EPC player for decentralised solar projects spread across multiple locations in the state.
At 9:19 am, Vikram Solar was trading at ₹162.65 on the BSE, up ₹2.60, or 1.62%.
Supplies to Begin in October
Under the agreement, Vikram Solar will supply 620 Wp N-Type TOPCon G12R modules. The modules will use glass-to-glass construction, bifacial technology and half-cut cells.
Supplies under the new order are scheduled to begin in October 2026.
The latest contract adds to a series of orders and agreements announced by the solar module manufacturer in recent weeks.
Earlier in September, Vikram Solar entered into a domestic cell supply agreement with Avaada Electro for 1 GW of ALMM-compliant, domestically manufactured half-cut N-Type G12R TOPCon solar cells. These cells are intended for use in Vikram Solar’s module manufacturing operations.
Another 124 MW Order Secured Recently
Vikram Solar has also secured another order for its module supply for a 124 MW solar project in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh.
In connection with the project, the company would be supplying G12R TOPCon modules with power output of 620 Wp to 630 Wp. The deliveries of the supplies are also set to start from October.
Apart from that, Vikram Solar had acquired Vikram Solar Australia Pty Ltd in August. As a result, the Australian firm has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company.
The stock of the company continued to be in the spotlight on September 29 after awarding the recent 400 MW order.
