Net profit was marked at ₹8,682.2 cr for Q4 FY2024, up by 26%.
EBITDA margin for Q4 FY2024 was 30.3%.
Business Highlights
Coal India reported a consolidated net profit for Q4 FY2024 at ₹8,682.2 cr from ₹6,875.07 cr in Q4 FY2023, up by 26%.
Its revenue from operations for Q4 FY2024 was ₹37,410.4 cr against ₹38,152 cr in Q4 FY2023, down by almost 2%.
EBITDA for Q4 FY 2024 was ₹11,337 cr. while the margin stood at 30.3%.
Its total revenue for Q4 FY2024 was ₹39,654.4 cr against ₹40,371.5 cr in Q4 FY2023, down by 1.8%.
Net profit for FY 2024 was ₹37,402 cr compared to ₹31,763 cr in FY 2023, an increase of 18%.
For FY 2024, its revenue from operation stood at ₹1.42 lakh cr up by 3% compared to ₹1.38 lakh cr in FY 2023.
The company declared a ₹5 dividend per equity share for FY 2024. Earlier the company had declared an interim dividend. Combining both, the total dividend paid for FY 2024 was ₹25.5 per equity share.
For Q4 FY 2024, Coal India’s raw coal production was 241 million tonnes against 198 million tonnes in Q4 FY 2023.
