Asian Market: Asian stocks were mixed on Friday as investor focus turned to upcoming data from American labor market. Treasuries steadied after declining all week. Japan's benchmark Nikkei 225 to trade down 0.35% at 28,387.02. Hong Kong's Hang Seng is trading up 0.52% at 23,193.94, while the Shanghai Composite trades up 0.23% at 3,594.27.

US Market: U.S shares were little unchanged; treasuries retreated. The Dow Jones Industrial Average closed down 0.47% at 36,236.47; the S&P 500 closed down 0.10%, at 4,696.05; and the Nasdaq Composite closed down 0.13%, at 15,080.87.
