According to FII/DII data, Foreign Institutional Investors (FIIs) remained net sellers, offloading equities worth Rs. 4,907 crore, while Domestic Institutional Investors (DIIs) remained net buyers, purchasing equities worth Rs. 4,754 crore.

Rising crude oil prices are placing additional pressure on Indian equities, with Brent Crude oil trading at $107. Furthermore, rising US bond yields and the anticipation of higher interest rates have contributed to a prevailing bearish environment in the markets.

Top Gainers for September 29: Delhivery, Mankind Pharma, & Gland Gain Up to 2.3%

Delhivery Gains 2.3%

Delhivery emerged as the top gainer in the Nifty 500 index on September 29, 2026. At 10:00 am,Delhivery share price was trading at ₹416.2, up 2.3% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes stood at 17 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 21 lakh shares.

The company's stock has fallen over 20% between July 10 and September 28, prompting a rebound that is also supported by positive anticipation surrounding the half-yearly earnings.

Mankind Pharma Rises Over 1.8%

Mankind Pharma share price rose to ₹2480, gaining 1.8% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes stood at 2.9 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 3.8 lakh shares.

Gland Pharma Company gains 1.6%

Trading volumes stood at 58 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 59 lakh shares.The stock has seen some routine correction, as Tata Teleservices rallied over 8% on September 28,and also due to the rising tension in the Tata Group.

Eris Lifesciences Drops 4.5%

Eris Lifesciences emerged as the top loser in the Nifty 500 index on September 29, 2026. At 10:00 am, the share price was trading at ₹1181, down 4.5% from its previous close on the NSE. Trading volumes currently stand at 11 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 6 lakh shares.The stock has made its 52-week low of ₹1180.

Sapphire Foods falls Over 3.8%

At 10:00 am, the Sapphire Foods share price was trading at ₹208, down 3.8% from its previous close on the NSE.Trading volumes currently stand at 6.2 lakh shares, compared with the 30-day average volume of 9.5 lakh shares.On September 28, the Company received a show-cause notice from the Deputy Commissioner of State Tax, Uttar Pradesh.
