The frontline index S&P BSE Sensex declined 0.83% or 511.59 points during the week and closed at 60,826.22 on December 22, 2022.

The fall was broad based during the week with S&P BSE Mid Cap declined by 1.76% at 25,285.23.The S&P BSE Small Cap also ended at 28,421.52 declining 3.71%.

In a meeting on Thursday, the board of Smartchem Technologies (STL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of DFPCL, approved a corporate restructuring plan that will help unlock the growth potential of each of the businesses, the company said in a statement.
