Buzzing Stock: Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited soars 3.18% post Q3FY22 results

Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited is an Indian multinational hospital chain headquartered in Chennai. The company is a healthcare services provider and has a robust presence across the healthcare ecosystem, including Hospitals, Pharmacies, Primary Care & Diagnostic Clinics and several retail health models. The share of the company was trading up by 2.65% early trading session of Tuesday.

The company recently reported its quarterly numbers for December 2021. Revenue of the company has plummeted by 2.1% QoQ and it has grown 31.85% YoY. Net profit of the company in Q3 stands at Rs 237.3 crore which is a 100.05% growth from Rs 118.62 crore reported in the corresponding period of last year. PBIDT margins of the company increased by 199 basis points as compared to Q3FY21. While net profit margins of the company shrunk by 222 basis points YoY. Q3FY22 occupancy across the group was at 5,107 beds (65% occupancy) as compared to 4,658 beds (63% occupancy) in Q3FY21. The Q3FY22 occupancy in mature hospitals was at 3,575 beds (66% occupancy). New hospitals had occupancy of 1,532 beds (63%) occupancy in Q3FY22.

Apollo Hospitals, Kolkata has acquired the Power Spiral Enteroscopy to treat gastrointestinal tract diseases. It would ease the process of endoscopy of the small intestine.

Apollo TeleHealth, has set up five Digital Dispensaries in Meghalaya, collaborating with the state government. Services offered at Digital Dispensaries include Primary Tele Consultations, Specialty and Super Specialty Teleconsultations, Tele Laboratory Services, Pharmacy, Screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD) and Social Health Education.

At 12:17 pm on Tuesday, the stock of Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited was trading at Rs 4,630.5, up by 3.18% or Rs 142.55 per share. The 52-week high of the script is recorded at Rs 5,930.70 and the 52-week low at Rs 2,761.05 on the BSE.
