Five largecap names that investors should keep an eye on today!

Balkrishna Industries: The firm said it has successfully commenced commercial production of the brownfield expansion and de-bottlenecking project at its Bhuj plant ahead of schedule. This will result in increased production of tyres up to 50,000 MTPA. The complete ramp-up in production is expected to be achieved in the next six months. Share is trading 3.1% down today.

Tube Investments: TI Clean Mobility has acquired a 70% stake in Cellestial E-Mobility. The Murugappa Group company in January 2022 had entered into a share subscription and purchase agreement with Cellestial E-Mobility, for the said transaction. The stock has declined 17% in the past one month. Share is trading 0.9% down.

NTPC: The state-owned power giant said it will start commercial operations of 74.88 megawatt capacity (MW) of its 296 MW Fatehgarh solar project in Rajasthan from midnight. With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC Group will reach 54,452.18 MW and 67,907.18 MW respectively. Share is trading 1.6% down.

Vodafone Idea: The promoter of Teclo- Vodafone- plans to infuse up to Rs 3,375 crore into the debt-ridden telecom operator as part of the company's proposed raising of funds worth Rs 14,200 crore. Besides Vodafone, Aditya Birla Group plans to pump in up to Rs 1,125 crore. Share is trading 4.5% down.

Info Edge: The IT company, which owns platforms such as Naukri.com and Jeevansathi, has acquired a 76 per cent stake in online dating company Aisle Network for Rs 91 crore. Aisle runs multiple dating platforms on the web and mobile apps- Aisle, Anbe, Arike and HeyDil. Share is trading 0.85% down.
