Low Priced Shares: List of Low Price Stocks Those Were Locked in the Upper Circuit on Tuesday, March 22
At noon on Tuesday, the core equity indices, i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading on the lower side as the crude oil price rose for the fourth consecutive day up to 18%. It was trading at USD 118.30 per barrel.
The Sensex was trading at 57,375.48 up by 82.99 points or 0.14% and the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,133.75 up by 16.15 points or 0.09%.
The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are ONGC, Tech Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Infosys, and TCS. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are HUL, Nestle India, Britannia Industries, Cipla, and SBI.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 23,516.22 down by 0.62%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Indian Hotels, Info Edge India, and Mphasis. Each of these scrips gained more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Zee Entertainment Enterprises, Apollo Hospitals, and Godrej Properties.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at, 27,765.21, down by 0.16%. The top three gainers are Oriental Aromatics, NIIT, and Jindal Drilling. Each of these stocks gained more than 15%. The top three stocks pulling the index down are Future Retail, Future enterprises, and Future Consumer.
On the sectoral front, BSE Consumer Durable, BSE FMCG, BSE Realty, and BSE Auto were dragging the Sensex down by 1 % to 2%.
