Low Price Shares locked in Upper Circuit on April 29

At 11:45 am on Friday, the benchmark equity indices, i.e. Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading sideways amid mixed global cues.
Equity markets in Asia rose on Friday due to a positive lead from Wall Street. Still, there was an unfavourable environment under the shadows of war, rising inflation and China's lockdowns. In the case of domestic indices, the Sensex was trading at 57,863.63, up by 0.60%, and the Nifty 50 was trading at 17,344.85, up by 0.58%.
The top gainers in the Nifty 50 pack were HDFC Life Insurance, Sun Pharmaceuticals and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd. Meanwhile, the top stocks pulling down the index were Axis Bank, Powergrid Corporation of India and Wipro Ltd.
BSE Midcap index was trading at a level of 24,751.34, up by 0.55%. The top 3 gainers of the index were General Insurance Corporation of India, Shriram Transport Finance and Varun Beverages Ltd. The top three stocks dragging the index were Gujarat Gas Ltd, Indraprastha Gas Ltd and Voltas Ltd.
BSE Smallcap index was trading at 28,890.15, up by 0.39%. The top three gainers were Varroc Engineering Ltd, Chennai Petroleum Ltd and HBL Power Systems Ltd. Each of these stocks gained more than 10%. The top three stocks pulling the index down were Camlin Fine Sciences, Yaari Digital Integrated Services and ZEE Learn Ltd.
All of the sectoral indices were trading flat, with BSE Realty, BSE Finance and BSE Healthcare being top performers.
