Low price stocks: These scrips are locked in the upper circuit on March 10

At 11.15 am on Thursday, the markets were up by 2% and were trading higher as the assembly elections results get declared. Also, the easing of Crude oil prices has also relieved the global markets.
The Sensex was trading at 55,949.83 up by 1,302.50 points or 2.38% and the Nifty 50 was trading at 16,721.65, up by 376.30 points or 2.30%.
The top five gainers in the Nifty 50 pack are Tata Motors, Axis Bank, IndusInd Bank, Hindustan Unilever, and Bajaj Finserv. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index are Coal India, Hindalco Industries, Tech Mahindra, ONGC, HCL Technologies, and Cipla.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 22,675.01, up by 1.09%. The top 3 gainers of the index were Cholamandalam Investment and Fin Co, Oberoi Realty, and Federal Bank. Each of these scrips gained more than 5%. The top three stocks dragging the index were Oil India, Biocon, Supreme Industries.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at, 26,355.70, up by 1.28%. The top three gainers are Take Solutions, IOL Chemicals, and Swan Energy. Each of these stocks gained more than 12%. The top three stocks pulling the index down are COFORGE, MAS Financial Services, and Vadilal Industries.
Sector-wise, all the indices on the BSE, were riding the bull wave, and were up and trading higher in the range of 2% to 4%. Only the BSE Metal index was down by 0.35%.
