The top gainers of Nifty 50 are Hindalco, Divis Laboratories, JSW Steel, Tata Steel and ONGC. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index include Godrej Properties, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Bajaj Auto, Mahindra & Mahindra, and HDFC Life Insurance Company.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 24,871.91, down by 0.19%. The top three gainers of the index include Torrent Power, Jindal Steel, and Apollo Hospital. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. The top three stocks dragging the index include Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, Godrej Properties, and Zee Entertainment Enterprise Limited.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,834.41, down by 0.01%. The top three gainers are Ambika Cotton, Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services, and HG Infra Engineers. Each of these stocks gained more than 12%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include Jubilant Industries, Venky’s and Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri Ltd.
All the sectoral indices on the BSE were trading flat with BSE Metal and BSE Basic Materials being up by more than 1%.
