These Low-Priced stocks made a 52-week high on Monday!
At 11.30 am on Monday, the frontline equity indices i.e, Sensex and Nifty 50 are extending the losses. The Sensex is trading at 58,014.63, down by 630.19 points, and the Nifty was down by 185.50 points at 17,330.80 levels, respectively.
The top gainers of Nifty 50 are SBI, Tata Steel, Power Grid Corporation, Coal India, and ONGC. Meanwhile, the top five stocks pulling down the index include Hero Motocorp, Bajaj Finance, Larsen and Toubro, Britannia, and HDFC Bank.
BSE Midcap index is trading at a level of 24,525.35, down by 0.91%. The top three gainers of the index include Union Bank, Bank of India, and Adani Power. Each of these scrips was up by more than 5%. The top three stocks dragging the index include Torrent power, Oberoi Realty, and Max Financial Services.
BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,506.92, down by 0.66%. The top three gainers are Ambika Cotton, Uttam Sugar Mills, Eveready Industries, Shankara Building Products. Each of these stocks gained more than 12%. The top three stocks pulling the index down include Jubilant Industries, Ujjivan Financial Services, and Banco Products (India).
All the sectoral indices on the BSE were bearish in the morning session with BSE IT, BSE Private Bank, and BSE Healthcare dragging the index furthermore.
