The top 5 gainers of Nifty 50 were Sun Pharmaceuticals, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, Divis Laboratories, IndusInd Bank, and Cipla. The top stocks pulling down the index were Tata Steel, JSW Steel, Coal India, Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), and Hindalco.
The BSE Midcap index is trading at 24,660, up by 0.03%. The top 3 gainers of the index include Apollo Hospitals, AU Small Finance Bank, and SJVN. Each of these scrips was up by more than 2%. The top 3 stocks dragging the index include Steel Authority of India (SAIL), Jindal Steel, and New India Assurance Ltd.
The BSE Smallcap index is trading at 29,001, up by 0.27%. The top 3 gainers are Nureca, India Glycols, and Responsive Industries. Each of these stocks was up by almost 18%. The top 3 stocks pulling the index down were Jaiprakash Power, Kabra Extrusion, and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Ltd (MTNL).
