Tube Investments of India, Dabur India, and JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

Tube Investments of India: The stock surged about 4.08% on Monday. It traded negatively for the most part of the day. However, strong buying towards the end has propelled the stock by nearly 5% in the last 75 minutes. Moreover, the volume recorded during this period is above average. On the daily timeframe, the volume recorded today is above its 10-day average volume. With such positivity, we expect the stock to be traded heavily in times to come.

Dabur India: The stock soared about 3.34%. It traded positively throughout the day and was traded heavily towards the end. The stock surged about 1% and recorded good volumes, indicating strong buying activity. It closed at a day’s high and is likely to be trending higher in upcoming days.

JK Lakshmi Cement Ltd: The stock gained about 3.77% today. It traded flat in the first half of the session but soon found a positive track as it surged about 4% towards the end. About 50% of the day’s volume was recorded during the last 90 minutes and it closed at its day’s high. Such huge buying can be attributed to institutional investing which means it is likely to be traded with positivity.
