Capri Global Capital Limited (CGCL), Graphite India, and Hatsun Agro Products have witnessed volume burst in the last 75 minutes of the trade.

As the saying goes, the first, as well as the last hour of each trading session, is the most important and active in terms of price & volume.

More so, the activity in the last hour is said to be of utmost importance because most of the pro-traders and institutions are active at this time. Hence, when a stock sees a good spike in volume in the last leg of the trade along with price rise, it is considered a pro, and institutions have a keen interest in the stock. Market participants should keep a close watch on these stocks as they can witness good momentum in the short to medium-term.

So, based on this principle, we have shortlisted three stocks that have witnessed volume burst in the last leg of the trade along with price rise.

CGCL: The stock surged about 5% on Budget Day. It formed an extremely bullish candle on the technical chart and has also hit an all-time high of Rs 585 today. Most of this gain came in the last hour when the stock shot up about 6%. With this price movement, the stock also recorded above average volume. More than 80% of the total day’s volume was recorded during this period. With stock surging towards the end of the day, we can expect the stock to be traded heavily with positive bias.

Graphite India: The stock soared over 8% on Tuesday. The stock was in consolidation mode for past few days and has broken out of its narrow range. The stock traded flat for most of the time but then witnessed a fantastic upmove in the last hour. It rose over 7% during this period and recorded huge volume in the process. Thus, with such huge buying interest, we can expect the stock to be trending higher in near future.

Hatsun Agro Products: The stock skyrocketed over 14% intraday and traded positive amid volatility. However, institutional buying set this stock fly higher as it surged over 10% in the last 75 minutes of the trade. Over 80% of the total day’s volume was recorded in the last hour, and thus, the stock is in focus of many traders looking for quick profits.
