Radico Khaitan Ltd is involved in the alcohol business and is among the most famous Indian-made foreign liquor brands in India. The company has one of India’s largest distillation plants located at Rampur. It has a molasses-based distilling capacity of 75 million litres per annum and a grain-based distillation capacity of 33 million litres per annum. 

FY22 was the biggest year for the company in terms of revenue generated. The company reported sales of Rs 2859 and a net profit of Rs 252 crore in FY22. For the latest June quarter, revenue stood at Rs 757 crore, while net profit at Rs 58 crore. As per FY22, the company has ROE and ROCE of 13.4% and 16.4%, respectively.

In the long term, the company has delivered good growth in its financials. The 10-year sales and revenue growth stood at 10% and 13%, respectively.

About the shareholding pattern, 40.27% of the company’s stake is owned by the promoters, 18.35% by FIIs, 20.26% by DIIs, and the rest 21.13% by the non-institutional investors.

The company has a market capitalization of Rs 15058 crore and is trading at a PE multiple of 57.66x. The scrip has a 52-week high and low of Rs 1299.85 and Rs 731.25, respectively.
