Coforge, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree and L&T Infotech were top gainers among Nifty IT index yesterday.

On Monday, Indian equity markets ended on a negative note in the red territory. Frontline indices Nifty 50 and Sensex recorded losses of 0.40 per cent and 0.26 per cent, closing the session at 17,206.70 and 57,683.59 respectively. Nifty IT index ended flat at 34,472.05. Coforge, Wipro, Infosys, Mindtree and L&T Infotech were top gainers. TCS, L&T Technology and Tech Mahindra were among the top losers of the index.

Tata Consultancy Services – The company has informed the exchange that it has launched the TCS Sydney Digital Garage, Powered by TCS Pace™, an innovation and digital collaboration centre bringing the company’s global capabilities to the Australian market. The digital garage is the first such centre in Asia-Pacific, expanding TCS’ roster of TCS Pace facilities spread across New York, Pittsburg, Amsterdam, and Tokyo.

The TCS Sydney Digital Garage provides access to the TCS global ecosystem of academia, start-ups, and technology providers. TCS will be working with its hyper-scale partners at the digital garage to develop digital solutions at scale, helping customers accessing the innovation centre innovate at speed and scale.

Infosys – The company has joined Guidewire PartnerConnect as a consulting alliance member at the select level for the Americas. The company’s Guidewire practice provides cloud and system integration services for Guidewire Insurance Suite products, factoring in the complexities of seamless syncing with other digital portals, and third-party applications.

Infosys intends to continue the expansion of its Guidewire Center of Excellence, which includes insurance domain experts and Guidewire-certified professionals, through investment in training and certification.
