Top Nifty 500 stocks with increasing promoter shareholding

An increase in promoter(s) stake in the company is considered to be a good sign. In this article, we would be listing the top Nifty 500 stocks with increasing promoter holding over past one year.
On Tuesday, US benchmark indices closed sharply higher, with the S&P 500 and Nasdaq snapping a three-day losing run. This can be somewhat attributed to the smaller than expected jump in wholesale inflation coupled with a slump in oil prices. Having said that, investors will continue to monitor developments of the Russia-Ukraine conflict and also the two-day Federal Reserve policy meeting that is slated to conclude on Wednesday expecting a rise in benchmark interest rates for the first time since 2018.
Back home, Nifty 50 broke its five-day winning run yesterday amid negative global cues. On March 15, 2022, Nifty 50 was down 1.23% at 16,663 at the closing bell.
On the downside, Nifty 50 failed to fill the gap made on February 24, 2022. However, in the last couple of trading sessions, Nifty 50 covered the same. As Russia-Ukraine still at loggerheads, not finding an end to the war and only a day left for the outcome of the US Fed meet, investors have turned cautious. This is very well understood by the advance-decline ratio which has fallen sharply. In the near-term, investors should look at the range of 16,471 to 16,888 for the Nifty 50.
