Zee Entertainment Q4 2024 Results: Consolidated PAT up 107% while revenue up by 2.77% on a YOY basis

Zee Entertainment Enterprises Limited announced its quarterly results for March 2024 on 17th May. It reported a consolidated PAT of ₹13.35 Cr for Q4 FY2024. Its consolidated total revenue for Q4 FY2024 increased by 2.77% on a YOY basis reaching ₹ 2185.29 cr. The company also declared a ₹ 1 per share dividend.

The company’s consolidated total revenue for Q4 FY2024 was up by 2.77% on a YOY basis, reaching ₹ 2185.29 Cr from ₹ 2126.35 cr in Q4 FY2023. The quarterly consolidated revenue was up by 5.40%. Zee Entertainment reported a consolidated PAT of ₹ 13.35 cr for Q4 FY2024 against a loss of ₹ 196.03 Cr in Q4 FY2023, which is an improvement of 106.81%. On a quarterly basis, the consolidated PAT was down by 77.20%.

For the full financial year ending in March 2024, the consolidated PAT stood at ₹ 141.43 cr compared to ₹ 47.79 cr in FY 2023, up by 195.94%. For FY 2024, its consolidated total revenue stood at ₹ 8766.48 cr compared to ₹ 8167.62 cr in FY 2023, up by 7.33%.

Rail Vikas Nigam announced a dividend of ₹ 1 per share. Its EBITDA margin was 10.40% at ₹ 9071 cr.

Zee’s domestic advertising revenue increased by 10.6% YoY to ₹ 1110.2 cr with the recovery in the advertising segment and higher spending by FMCG clients. While its network share increased to 17.10% for FY2024.

Zee’s streaming platform launched 16 new movies and shows in the March quarter. The revenue for OTT also witnessed an increase and reached ₹ 919.50 cr. While the revenue of Zee5 increased by 24% in FY 2024.

The streaming platform released 16 shows and movies released in Q4.
