List of Top Gainer Penny Stocks: These Shares Gained Up To 20% on Friday December 24

On December 24, the Indian equity market closed down on a negative note. BSE Information Technology is the top gainer and BSE Power is the top loser in today’s trade.

After the Indian equity market was closing in positive for three days in a row, today the equity market closed on a negative note. Besides, all sectoral indices closed on a negative note except for the TECk and Information Technology sector which closed up with a green mark.

In today’s trade Nifty 50 and BSE Sensex indices closed down by 68.85 points i.e., 0.40% and 190.97 points i.e., 0.33%, respectively. Stocks that supported BSE Sensex to pull the index up were HCL Tech Ltd, Tech Mahindra Ltd, Reliance Ltd and Infosys Ltd. Stocks that dragged the BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 down were HDFC, Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance. The BSE Sensex and Nifty 50 Index opened up by 0.43% and 0.45%, respectively from their previous close.

In Friday's trading session only S&P BSE Information Technology and S&P BSE TECk were top gainers. BSE Information Technology index consisting of stocks such as Vakrangee Ltd, D Link India Ltd, RPSG Ventures Ltd, KPIT Technologies Ltd and Firstsource Solutions Ltd were the top gainers.

In today’s trade, S&P BSE Power, S&P BSE Utilities, S&P BSE CPSE, S&P BSE PSU and S&P BSE Realty were top losers. BSE Power index consisting of stocks such as Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd, NTPC Ltd, Adani Transmission Ltd, Adani Green Energy Ltd and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd were top losers.
