Penny Stocks Locked in the Upper Circuit on April 05, 2022

At noon on Tuesday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading flat and were nearing day’s low as Nifty was trying hard to maintain 18,000 levels.

 The Sensex was at 60,383.16, down by 228.58 points or 0.38%, and the Nifty was at 18,014.50, down by 38.90 points or 0.22%. 

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Titan Company, NTPC, TCS, Dr Reddy’s Laboratories, HUL, and Nestle India. Whereas, the top losers were HDFC Bank, HDFC, Bajaj Finserv, Reliance Industries, and Bajaj Finance.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 30,918.25 and is up by 0.96%. The top three gainers of the index were Dhani Services, Polycab, and City Union Bank. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Godrej Agrovet, Federal Bank, and Max Financial Services.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,899.00 up by 1.07%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Dilip Builcon, IOL Chemicals, and GMM Pfaudler. Each of these scrips was up by more than 10%. The top stocks pulling the index down were Blue Dart Express, Bharat Dynamics, and KEI Industries.

On the sectoral front, all the sectoral indices are up and going, except for Nifty Private Bank, Nifty Realty, and Nifty Financial Services were bearish on the bourses.
