At 12.30 pm on Thursday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty 50 were trading marginally higher owing to the positive economic outlook for the US.

The Sensex is at 58,447.51, up by 382.04 points or 0.66% and the Nifty 50 is trading at 17,3391.55, higher by 114.65 points or 0.66%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack were ICICI Bank, Larsen & Toubro, Tata Steel, HCL Technologies, and Axis Bank. Whereas, the top losers were Bajaj Finance, Hindustan Unilever, Bharti Airtel, IndusInd Bank, and Dr Reddy’s Laboratories.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading higher at 31,544.60, up by 1.46%. The top three gainers of the index are JSW Energy, Bharat Forge, and Zee Entertainment Enterprises. Each of these scrips was up by more than 6%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Ipca Labs, Sanofi India, and Godrej Industries.

On the sectoral front, all the indices were trading in the green, except for Pharma and FMCG.
