At 11.45 am on Tuesday, headline indices Sensex and Nifty were trading higher amidst positive global cues.

The Sensex was at 57,742.55 up by 149.06 points or 0.26%, and the Nifty was at 17,265.45 up by 43.45points or 0.25%.

The top gainers in the Sensex pack are Bharti Airtel, UltraTech Cement, HDFC, Sun Pharmaceuticals, Titan Company. Whereas, the top five losers were ITC, IndusInd Bank, Infosys, SBI, and Tata Steel.

The Nifty Midcap 100 index is trading at 29,253.40 and is up by 0.25%. The top three gainers of the index were PI Industries, Ipca Labs, and Max Financial Services. Each of these scrips was up by more than 3%. Similarly, the top 3 stocks dragging the index include Tata Elxsi, Dhani Services, and Endurance Technologies.

The Nifty Smallcap 100 index is trading at 10,246.80, up by 0.17%. The top 3 gainers of the index are Tanla Platforms, Birla Corporation, and Linde India. Each of these scrips was up by more than 7%. The top stocks pulling the index down were Future Retail, Thyrocare Technologies, and TV18 Broadcast.

On the sectoral front, only BSE Metal, BSE PSU and BSE Oil & Gas were dragging the index, whereas BSE Telecom and BSE Healthcare were trading on the greener side.
