These Low-Priced stocks are locked in the upper circuit on Monday, December 13

On Monday, some of the low-price shares outperformed the market during the trading session.

The benchmark indices are seen trading on a lower side with BSE Sensex squeezing 244.34 points or 0.42% down at 58,542.33 level.

Among the stocks included in Sensex, Axis Bank is the top BSE Sensex gainer up by more than 3%, whereas Bajaj Finance is the top BSE Sensex loser on Monday, trading more than 2.3% on the downside.

On the other hand, the broader markets are seen outperforming the benchmark indices. BSE Midcap is trading 0.09% higher and BSE Smallcap is trading 0.58% up.

Sona Comstar, Mphasis, Tata Power, Bharat Forge and Natco Pharma are taking top positions in the BSE Midcap index whereas Endurance Technologies is trading in red down by more than 2.6% in Friday’s trading session.

Medicamen Biotech, Minda Industries, Asahi Songwon Colors, Antony Waste Handling Cell and Tarc are among the top BSE Smallcap index gainers on Monday.

All the sectoral indices except energy are trading on a flat note with BSE Energy Index plunging 1.28%. Inspite of the drag experienced by the BSE Energy index, Hindustan Oil Exploration is the top gaining stock within the index, gaining 2.41%

The price-volume breakout is seen in some of the low-priced stocks in Monday’s trading session with several stocks being locked in the upper circuit.
