The Indian benchmark indices were trading flat with BSE Services Index being the top-gaining sector, whereas BSE Capital Goods Index was the top-losing sectoral indices.  

On Thursday, the benchmark indices were trading flat with Sensex up around 65 points or 0.10% at 62,000 and the Nifty trading up by 2 points or 0.015% at 18,315. 

About 2,108 shares have advanced, 968 have declined and 151 were unchanged on BSE. 

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE: 

NTPC Ltd, Ultratech Cement and IndusInd Bank were the top Sensex gainers today, while Bharti Airtel, ITC Ltd and Larsen & Toubro Ltd were the top Sensex loser. 

The indices traded in a higher manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index up by 0.05% and the BSE Small-cap index up by 0.16%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Gujarat Gas Ltd and Indian Railway Finance Corporation, while the top small-cap gainers were Ratnamani Metals & Tubes Ltd and Sirca Paints Ltd.

The indices were trading mixed on the sectoral front, with the BSE Services Index leading the gainers and BSE Capital Goods Index being the losing sector. The BSE Services Index soared by 0.55%, led by Team Lease Services Ltd and AGS Transact Technologies Ltd, whereas BSE Capital Goods Index plunged by 0.40% dragged down by Larsen & Toubro and AIA Engineering.
