The Indian benchmark indices were trading higher with BSE Metals Index shining among all the sectoral indices, up by 0.81%.

On Monday, the benchmark indices were trading higher with Sensex up around 200 points or 0.35% at 57,790.89, and the Nifty trading up by 100 points or 0.51% at 17,040.15. 

Top Gainer & Losers on BSE:

Reliance, Sun Pharma and L&T Ltd were the top Sensex gainers today, while Axis Bank, Mahindra & Mahindra and NTPC were the top Sensex loser.

The indices traded in a lower manner in the broader markets, with the BSE Mid-cap index plunging by 0.35% and the BSE Small-cap index declining by 1.05%, respectively. The top mid-cap gainers are Lupin, Aurobindo Pharma and Biocon, while the top small-cap gainers were Morepen Labs, Navkar Corporation and Ganesh Benzoplast.
