Introduction

The government proposed a unique identification, and Lt. Atal Bihari Vajpayee, former Prime Minister of India, approved it in 2000. As a result, the Aadhaar Act was finally passed by the Lok Sabha in 2016 after sixteen years.

Today, an Aadhaar card is the preferred KYC document for most places, such as banks. The government of India has made it mandatory for EPF accounts and many such government-run places. Aadhaar linking for certain documents and financial services makes you eligible to reap the benefits. Unlike other KYC documents, it requires biometric and iris verification, which makes it a solid identity recognition document. Therefore, it is more than necessary to have Aadhaar cards.

People who have an Aadhaar card but need to update their address or mobile number can easily do it by online and offline methods. The Aadhaar card updation involves five stages:

● Draft stage
● Payment stage
● Verification stage
● Validation stage
● Completed

If someone has applied for an update, they can check their application status in several ways, like enrollment ID, Aadhaar number, URN, or even with their mobile number. This blog will take you through all the step-by-step procedures for checking Aadhaar Update Status.

How to Check Aadhaar Card Enrolment Status Online

There is no fee applicable for checking your Aadhaar card application enrollment process or even for updation. The applicant needs to visit the official website and check the status of their application. Here is the step-by-step procedure.
