The shorter 50-day measure was the only one of the three displayed averages above the final price.

Return figures also differed considerably by horizon. The one-month return was -4.50%, followed by a positive three-month reading of 8.55%. Six months showed 19.77%, while the one-year return was 3.26%. The six-month return exceeded the one-year number by 16.51 percentage points and stood well above the shorter one-month reading. 

September 18’s 2.49% gain was accompanied by a closing price at roughly the same level as the rounded session high. The displayed high is rounded to ₹1,040 while the primary closing price is ₹1,040.30, so no artificial high-to-close difference is calculated. The more reliable comparisons are with the opening price, moving averages and 52-week range. On those measures, the stock finished above its open, above the 100-day and 200-day DMAs, and below the 50-day DMA. 

The previous close and opening level also differed clearly. Bajaj Finance opened ₹11 above the displayed previous close and finished a further ₹14.30 above the open. Its volume was just under 9.5 million shares. Compared with the annual range, the close was roughly midway between ₹788 and ₹1,176, though somewhat nearer the 52-week high. The 100-day DMA of ₹1,020.80 was also only ₹1.80 above the rounded session low of ₹1,019.
